If you would like to become a member or a volunteer of the Railway Society, and help to keep the wheels in motion, and also enjoy working as a volunteer with a progressive steam society.

Volunteers.

A volunteer is a person who is willing to give of their time and skills to the benefit of the railway, If you would like to help us and have any of the following skills be it Painting and Decorating, Carpentry, Building work, Plumbing, Electrical work, Mechanical, Diesel engine maintenance, hydraulics or looking after our shop onboard the train or our shop at 10 - 11 High Street Arcade, High Street, Swansea you will be welcomed with open arms. There is just one other job that has to be at the top of the list,its classed by some as a thankless job but in anybody`s book one of the most important job on the railway, and that is, A Cleaner.
Last but not least you can train to become, a Guard, a Fireman,a Driver (steam) and/or a Diesel Driver, a Steward, a Line Supervisor on our railway.
